MySAT Practice Portal · Effective 30 July 2026
In short
This is a private practice portal for students enrolled in tutoring with MySAT Tutoring. Accounts are created by the tutor — there is no public sign-up. We collect the small amount of information needed to run practice tests and show progress. We do not advertise, we do not use tracking or analytics tools, and we do not sell or share personal information for money or for anyone else’s marketing.
Who is responsible for your information
MySAT Tutoring (“we”, “us”) operates MySAT Practice Portal and is responsible for the personal information described below. You can reach us at abrokebaker@gmail.com.
What we collect
We collect only the following:
- Account details. Your name, email address, and an optional target score. These are entered by your tutor when your account is created.
- Practice test activity. The answers you select, which questions you flag or leave blank, your progress through each module, and when you start and finish. This is what makes a score report possible.
- Scores and reports. Your section and total scores, and the per-topic breakdowns derived from your answers.
- Sign-in records. Standard technical information kept by our hosting and login providers, such as your IP address and the time of a request, used to keep the service working and secure.
We do not collect payment or card details through this portal, and we do not ask for your date of birth, address, phone number, school records, or any government identifier.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies, set by our login provider, to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. That is all they do. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers on this site, which is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner. Clearing these cookies signs you out.
How we use it
Your information is used to:
- let you sign in and keep your place in a test you have started;
- mark your answers and produce your score report;
- let your tutor see your results and your strong and weak topics, so that lessons can be targeted — this is the whole point of the portal;
- understand overall performance across all students in aggregate, to judge whether the practice material is working;
- keep the service secure, diagnose faults, and prevent misuse.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Your score report is generated from your answers using a fixed published scoring table; it is not a judgement about you made by an algorithm.
Who can see your results
Your tutor and the portal administrator can see your account details, your attempts and your score reports. Other students cannot — the database is configured so that each student account can only read its own records. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian may ask us for your results at any time.
Service providers we rely on
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the providers that make the portal work, and only to that extent:
- Supabase — stores the database, handles sign-in, and hosts question images.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the website.
- Desmos — provides the on-screen graphing calculator during the maths section. The calculator is loaded from desmos.com, so Desmos receives your IP address and anything you type into the calculator itself. It does not receive your name, your email, your answers or your scores.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where necessary to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.
Where your information is held
Our providers operate data centres in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you are located outside the United States, this means your information is transferred to a country whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on standard contractual protections offered by these providers for such transfers.
Students under 18
This portal is intended for secondary-school students preparing for college-entrance tests, and we expect most users to be minors. Accounts are never self-registered: an account exists only because a parent or guardian has enrolled the student in tutoring with us, and enrolment is where consent for this portal is given. A parent or guardian may review their child’s information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete the account at any time by emailing us.
We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you believe we hold information about a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and your score history for as long as you are studying with us, so that progress over time remains visible, and for up to 12 months afterwards. After that, or sooner on request, the account and its attempts are deleted. Aggregate statistics that cannot identify you may be kept longer.
Your rights
You, or your parent or guardian, can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong, such as a misspelled name;
- delete your account and your test history;
- stop using your information, or restrict how we use it.
Email abrokebaker@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will never treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
Security
Connections to the portal are encrypted. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our login provider and cannot be read by us — if you forget yours, we issue a new one rather than tell you the old one. Access to the database is restricted per account, and administrative keys are held on the server and never sent to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your information we will tell you and, where required, the relevant authority.
Practice test material
The practice questions in this portal are official College Board SAT practice material, used with enrolled students for teaching purposes only. This portal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the College Board or Desmos.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for significant changes we will tell students and guardians directly by email.
